A Sound of Hope empowers Christians to discuss mental health openly and without stigma. It uncovers inner wounds and misconceptions, guiding believers on a transformative journey toward personal growth and healing

The Why behind Sound of Hope

Within two years, we experienced an unthinkable loss—three loved ones to suicide, including my cousin Lyndsie who had the singing voice of a living, angel and who left behind two beautiful children. She was not only beautiful but funny, kind, fun-loving and the head nurse on the ER floor, a riot of fun and the head nurse on the ER floor. Losing her hit hard and I was determined to never let this happen again. Out of that pain, A Sound of Hope was born with a mission to raise awareness, break the stigma, and bring hope to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges—particularly within faith spaces. We advocate for more safe, honest conversations within the church community, and partner with mental health professionals and inner healing ministries to bring both practical support and spiritual restoration through resolving childhood trauma, core beliefs and the power of forgiveness.
